Absolutely true Tim and while I thank the folks on the thread who chimed in, I totally understand your frustration.
Sure docs are never perfect but the fact is you were looking for something specific and couldn't find it, and that sucks. Were you looking at the output of 'puppet master --genconfig' or 'puppet man master', (or something else?) when you ran into the 'duration' term and couldn't find where that was defined?
