your basic ideas are sound, but there is a conceptual misunderstanding:
You cannot "include <module>". Instead, you have to include a *class*
from the module.
E.g. "include controllernode::bootstrap", and the module contains a
class controllernode::bootstrap { }.
Also, if the class is in manifests/init.pp or manifests/<classname>.pp,
you need no 'import "controllernode"', and using it anyway is in fact
discouraged.
