I'm really just not getting the whole point of external nodes. The more I look at it, the less I see the point.
For starters, you have to pass arguments from your node back to your classes via what appear to be global variables, and then if you have multiple instances of a specific piece of software running, on a node (which is not that uncommon) you have to qualify these global variables in some manner, inst1_var1, inst2_var1 etc. C'mon... seriously, what am I missing here?
