I'm running the RHEL EPEL version of puppet (24.8). I wanted to create a simple "minutes since last puppet run" item on each client. I found /var/lib/puppet/localconfig.yaml seemed to be created for each puppet run. Then on another host, it wasn't there, it appears that sometimes it's /var/lib/puppet/*state/*localconfig.yaml.
Why isn't it consistant? Is classes.txt always consistant? Is something consistant? It seems like it would be easier to monitor each host, since with puppet templating the zabbix install, I don't have to touch the script :-) Thanks and Merry Christmas!
