MRG is what the marketing folks call a 'layered product', i.e. something
that you'll have to buy in addition to RHEL subscriptions. And as you
suspect, it uses puppet for configuring grids.

If you don't have a separate MRG subscription, you'll be just as
supported with the EPEL puppet RPM's as with the ones for MRG (IOW, not
at all :( )

I'd recommend sticking with the EPEL packages, simply since there are
more and more varied uses (and therefore more testing) of them than for
the MRG stuff - even if the MRG packages are, for all intents and
purposes, identical to the EPEL ones; and we'll definitely push any bugs
and bug fixes for MRG back upstream.
