That's the part I was worried about yesterday - whether some of the
caching could get stale and whether it'd pick up manifests changes okay.
But at least 3 of the commits I think have zero impact here and should
be pretty easy to merge IMHO. But I'm always overly excited about things
that make Puppet faster... :)
