Hi Slau,

Yes, that was what I also assumed. I copied all the folders I needed from my
old plugin settings folder, and pasted them into my new plugin settings folder.
These are folders that worked perfectly in my old system. Some of them contain
subfolders with more .TFX files, but others are plain folders with no sub
folders. Then I restarted my new Mac and launched Pro Tools. The preset menu
for the plugins where I added my folders, does not show any presets at all. No
plain .TFX files and no sub folders. For the plugins installed with Pro Tools
by default, all the presets and sub folders show up as expected.

That's why I asked if there was any procedure or conversion process I didn’t
know about, that would rescan the folders in the plugin settings folder, or
convert them in a way that made them visible. After all, I also assumed that
pasting them there and restarting Pro Tools would make them visible in the
presets menu.

I tried to save a new preset in one of those plugins, and it was saved in the
folder I had pasted there. It shows up in the presets menu, but the subfolders
that was already there from my old system, does not show up. If I copy some of
the .TFX files contained in one of the invisible folders, and paste them in the
root folder for that plugin, they show up, and so does also the sub folder I
copied them from. But not the other sub folders.

So this is very mysterious! ;)

Any ideas? ;)

Best,
John André
