Hi, I have considered to buy an iMac for my studio, but now, I’m instead considering switching to the new Mac Mini presented by Apple yesterday. By upgrading the processor to 6 core, RAM to at least 16 Gb andSSD size to f.ex. 1 Tb, it can become quite a powerful machine. Since VoiceOver users can operate the machine without a screen when not in the studio, it’s quite mobile as well.
My question is though; what are your experiences with using a single SSD for both the system and PT recording/playback, given the specs above and quite a number of tracks running? I know it’s suggested to use a separate drive for recording, like I do with my old machine today, but I would really like to hear your thoughts… ;) Best, John André -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group.
