These were originally single WAV files per track. He then edited them. If he exports the original folder of WAV files, the original, unedited files will import into the new session. He needs to export the files anew in order to reflect the edits. Either way, an export is necessary. Yes, it's not essential to consolidate files and, providing they are true BFW WAV files, they will import into the correct spot on the timeline but now the person at the other end needs to account for multiple clips with the same name and different numbers importing to separate tracks rather than multiple clips on the same track. To me, it's leaves less room for error to consolidate all of the clips, select the whole timeline, export and have 15 WAV files to import to 15 tracks as originally intended. Best, Slau
