Well actually, what i was trying to explain in my last e-mail is that when i go
in to ProTools it’s self. it just shows a blank window. It doesn’t show a mix
window, no edit window, Nothing. just a blank sgreen. that’s the 1 problem that
i’m having at the moment.

Well, the only current issue that I can think of is that the default behavior
of some UI elements doesn't seem to register. In other words, simply pressing
space bar on certain items doesn't activate them. The workaround is to route
the mouse pointer to the VoiceOver cursor and either click a track pad or use
Shift-Control-Option-Space Bar. It's a fairly minor issue. Given the option, I
see nothing wrong with starting out on Mavericks but that's just delaying the
inevitable migration at some point. If you have Mavericks, stay with it by all
means but, if you can go Yosemite just as easily, I'd say go Yosemite.

Well I have tried to use protools 11 with Yosemite, but the last 2 times I’ve
tried to use it, the protools window wasinaccessable to voiceover. And I’m not
too sure how to get round this problem.

Horses for courses. I'm using 11 with Yosemite with no issues.

Mavericks for me my friend. I had to reformat a computer to get away from
Yosemite.

    Hi all.
I’m a starter of ProTools. What version of Mac OS should I use?
I’ve heard that Yosemite has faced some problem. Is it true?
    Thank you.
