The way to add an xterm button is to right click on the panel, select Panel > Add > Special Button > Non-KDE Application, navigate to /usr/X11R6/bin/, select xterm and click OK. You can right click on the resulting gear icon and choose anothr icon to replace it. On my machine, this all works fine without interfering with the panel. Good Luck. -- gerry _____ 0/0 /__
