*sigh* would you people _try_ the driver before you start ranting? 
The latest Nvidia drivers rebuild and install and run in 8.0 with nary
a hitch.  Just the same warning (maybe a bit more verbose) about
non-gpl code tainting the kernel.  Bottom line, they work, so stop
spreading FUD about as if they didn't.
