The newest versions of the NVIDIA drivers work well for me - 3123 release, I believe? I installed them on my work machine (fresh install of 8.0) and all was well. On an update from 7.3 with the earlier NVIDIA drivers installed, all worked after the install. NOTE: on a fresh 8.0 install you will get complaints from RPM if you attempt to install older versions of the drivers. The best results I've had were from downloading the NVIDIA most recent version, rebuilding the source RPMS (rpmbuild -ba <>) and installing the resulting packages. Then modify your XF86Config file as before and you're off. rickf
