Hello,

I am a bit surprised when I realized that I had installed PSPP on 1 PC 2x under Windows, and in one case system commands were colored in the syntax window, in the other not.

This is the version (psppire.exe) 2.0.0-gc8ce79

1) dated (download) 6.3.2024: syntax is colored

2) dated (download) 6.3.2024: syntax is not colored

I tested it with the example regress.sps

Differerences:

1) path name: \pspp

2) path name: \psppDate

The subfolder of share contains not the same amount of files in the paths.

This could also be related to the fact that I did not delete the older version and installed the newer one in the same directory.

Now I compared each subfolder. There were older folders (dated in my case 16.8.2016) named gtksourceview-3.0 and Themes and a few files in the folder LC-Messages. I copied the folders with content in the the share folder of the other installation path and now the coding is coloured.

I suspect that this folder is no longer installed in the Win version and therefore the coding is no longer colored.

You could consider making these files available for download so that anyone who wants to install them can do so at their own risk.

Perhaps it is also possible to include this in future versions (although I am aware of the lack of Win developers of pspp).

Greetings

Andreas Hammer
