Dear Alan, what a machine you are!!!!! But everything can't be in pink colour, lol.
I have imported data at last! The last trouble must be the directory's name as you said. I changed the folder called "Excel" into desktop and IT WORKS! I inspected all programs on my computer and I found one called "Segurazo" similar to an antivirus. I uninstalled it and installed again the latest PSPP version (GNU pspp 1.2.0-g0fb4db). After that I got the data imported. The problem now is with "add files command". You know it was my other trouble. I write in sintaxis the following sentence: add files /file="prot.sav" /file="dataset1.sav". I am sure the folder is on the desktop directly too. It shows a message error (the screenshot) and there is a space between ' and the first letter of the name (prot.sav) and the first quotation mark is a bit strange. What can I do now?
