Wen, Off list you said that you downloaded it from sourceforge (https://sourceforge.net/projects/pspp4windows/files/), which looks correct to me. So that increases my feeling that it's a false alarm, but I certainly don't know that.
I sent you the 23MB file (32MB uuencoded) that I downloaded on 5/27/16 and which I am using. I don't know if it will go through. Alternatively you could download the 32-bit version and see if if also triggers an alert (because a 64-bit computer will run both 32- and 64-bit binaries). I'm sure there are strings in common between the two versions, but I assume the executable code is fairly different? If so, then if the 32-bit version also triggers a virus alarm then I'd be more concerned. If the 32-bit version does not, I would assume that it is safe and that the alarm was likely a false alarm. -Alan On 6/17/2016 2:19 AM, wenft wrote: > I just downloan the pspp software. > My computer tell me this file pspp-0101+20160401-snapshot-64bits-setup.exe > had virus 'Win32.Troj.Undef.(kcloud).' > How do I do next? > > > Thanks. > > Wen > > _______________________________________________ > Pspp-users mailing list > Pspp-users@gnu.org > https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/pspp-users -- Alan D.
