Hi

No, there are no GUI settings file which you should change and I am not
aware of a setting you could change. In GNU you can change a lot so maybe
it is possible but it is not intended to do so.

But off course there must be a file somewhere which holds the latest files
opened. I don't know the name of this file nor where it is hidden?

Developers can you tell where it is or what its name is?
