John, Off list, he said my steps helped. I think he needed help on how to use syntax. I think the typical SPSS user has no idea how to use syntax and I'll bet that most people rely upon the dialogs to generate syntax for most procedures. (That's what I do and how I generated the syntax for the Kruskal-Wallis test.)
