Hi If you change the locale settings this may interfere with other settings on your computer. To avoid this you have to set the locale in terminalmode and then start psppire from that terminal. Not especially a convenient way to do to say the least.
I would suggest, remove c:\program files\PSPP\share\locale\fr then PSPP falls back on te default english language. You have to redo this trick after upgrading to a new version of PSPP. Have fun
