I know this is of interest only to a small fraction of the 1% of losers
- anyway to get pspp and psppire going on Slackware 14.1 (current) I
had to:
1. install libiconv
(http://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/libiconv/libiconv-1.14.tar.gz) after
patching srclib/stdio.in.h as described here:
http://www.itkb.ro/kb/linux/patch-libiconv-pentru-glibc-216
2. install gsl and gtksourceview form SlackBuilds.org
3. replace readline-5.2 with a newer version (removepkg
readline-5.2-i486-4, download & install
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/readline.git/snapshot/readline-master.tar.gz).
