I had not seen that, but it looks like X11 is the problem:

It also looks like an ancient OS (even MacPorts no longer supports Mac OS X 
10.5) and ancient X11:

I'd recommend at least downloading a newer X11. Upgrading to a newer OS would 
be ideal.

One last note: the pspp-devel 0.7.8 on the BMI site is _quite_ old (16 Nov
