Jill, Both I and my students have been having problems with several versions of PSPP stalling or crashing. I have found, on W7, 64 bit the following to be stable:
PSPP_0.7.9_2012-03-15_64bits from the http://pspp.awardspace.com/ site found on the PSPP site (other mingw). I'm not sure about the 32 bit version. -Peter ================== Peter Galderisi Senior Lecturer Department of Political Science UC San Diego [email protected] 858-926-0961 (message) ________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of Jill Covert [[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, March 22, 2012 9:10 AM To: Michel Boaventura Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: pspp crashing-Windows version psppire.exe 0.7.8-g997322 Using Windows XP and version psppire.exe 0.7.8-g997322. I've decided it's simply the computer I'm using--it can't handle the program...going to switch over to using my laptop with Windows 7. Will let you all know if the problem continues with Windows 7. Thanks!
