Your method wouldn't work, Pete, anymore that what I purposed.  The 
difference is what I mention is happening everyday in the real world, if 
not literally, then on some minor level derived from the general 
concept.  Nobody care whether the method works or not.  The only thing 
that matters is whether the method lead to the desired result.  LOL
