Your statement is twisted. When used as an adjective, a racist might be
defined as someone who is intolerant, or someone who makes racial
remarks, or someone that discriminates, especially on the basis of race
or religion, (eg anti-black, anti-Semitic types). When used as a noun,
a racist is a person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior
to others, (eg racialist).

The overwhelming support President Obama received from the African
Americans had nothing to do with racism. The blacks voted for President
Obama; because, they identified with him, they admired his courage in
running for the hightest office in the land, they felt he was the
candidate most likely to represent their best interest, and they felt he
was the candidate best equipped to handle the critical issue created
during the Bush Presidency, that needed immediate attention.
