I looked into using FFC and then tried it.  Once.  

Sounds like someone who started using frameworks like .NET couldn't get
beyond not using one in FoxPro.  They probably sought out a framework just
because it had to have one and then used it thinking this must be how
everyone does it.

Been there, done that, feel your pain.  The wizards and framework that came
with VFP aren't to my liking, and like you, it was such a small project that
I just rewrote it.  I *do* use some of the ffc's as defined in Markus
Egger's Advanced OOP with VFP6 book, iirc.  Some of the classes are handy,
but the framework and wizards sucked for a good developer, imo.
