I'm running VFP on Win 7 64-bit, not noticed any issues. I'd say go for
64-bit but get Win 7 Professional and make sure the CPU can do hardware
virtualisation, so that you can use XP mode for anything that won't run
(which is very unlikely, unless you have a lot of 16-bit stuff). The red
flag with 64-bit used to be driver support but that is rapidly becoming
a thing of the past, unless you have some very old, very weird printers
or scanners etc.
