Do people here digitally sign their applications? I'm willing to go this route if it is reasonably straightforward, but I'm getting bogged down in the MSDN docs. Specifically:
+ Can I used self-signed certificates or must I pay someone for a Microsoft-blessed key pair? + Does this have a higher probability of keeping my app from being targeted by third-party virus scanners? I'm trying to ascertain if the benefit (what is the benefit, given that my customers already trust me?) outweighs the costs of adding another layer to my deployment on Windows.
