You may need to look at the SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR and SET REPORTBEHAVIOR as 
a stop-gap measure until all SQL and reports have been checked.

To get up to speed, I suggest a conference such as http://swfox.net 
where you can ask questions from lots of really great VFP developers.
