That's naif. The criminal knows it's going to happen, gets to pick the when, where and how. There is no way a gun in your holster can beat that. A crowbar in your hand beats a gun in a holster so long as you are less than 6 feet away. And remember, the criminal will choose the when and where. If I were a criminal decided to mug you and perceived you had a gun then the only difference is I'd hit you harder, just in case. Of course if you are a wimpy coward without a gun you'll walk like one and fear attracts sharks. OTOH if you are a wimpy coward with a gun maybe you won't be afraid (no matter how silly that is) and THAT may be what saves you, not the gun. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
