I have had a carry permit for the better part of the last 20 years. I have found that when you have the capability to shoot you never have the need to. Putting on gun oil is not the same as pulling the trigger. Without the gun hidden in your pocket, a55holes are on your case all the time. It takes them a minute to rob or beat you, and takes the police seven minutes to get there to ask "What did he look like?" When *you* have the gun, as opposed to the gun being seven minutes away, they never even try you.
