I don't think that's what Jesus wrote. Keep in mind, there were a
bunch of them accusing her, not just one.

Here are some other clues:

- Jews were categorically not allowed to execute anyone during the
Roman occupation;

- The event took place at the temple, where the Roman guards would
have been posted within earshot;

- It was the sabbath,and writing anything "on paper" was not allowed

Next guess?

Right, which was why Jesus' statement about coming to save the lost
and heal the sick was so ironic. The sickest of all were the ones who
thought they were safe and sound.
