Yep, that is the bad part. A long time ago, people like us started inventing things like real time gps based tracking systems so that when an irate customer called wanting to know where his order was, we could tell them.
But now those that control the infrastructure are using those same products to penalize their employees by keeping a tighter rein on them then they do their dogs. Who is right? It can be debated for a lot longer then I have the energy to argue. For myself, I believe in FREEDOM and that is why I will no longer work for the Corporate Mega Companies that are destroying America and putting good American people out of work so that they can further enrich those that don't even own the company at the expense of the shareholders that do own the companies.
