I have been getting this error anytime I 'modify form'. The first time I save changes, I get that message. The second time I save/close the form, it crashes VFP. I noticed that the exact same files (on the network file server) did not have a problem when edited on a different computer that had PC Tools anti virus. I was convinced that the memo file was not corrupt and had no problem at all. The computer with the problem has Avast anti virus. If you right click on the small blue icon (with 'a' and rotates) in your task bar at the bottom of the screen, one of the selections is 'Pause provider'. Select 'Standard Shield'. This will stop the problem. If you have already received the first error message, VFP will still crash when you save/close the form. So far I have not had any 'real' corrupt problems.
