BTW, you may see the same issue if a user selects the Microsoft Document Writer 
"printer". It also seems to change the current location and can cause all sorts 
of fun when control returns to your application.

In the end - I did follow the suggestion given here - in that I saved
the default directory within the screen where the printer selection
occurs - and then restored that path AFTER the selection is made. And,
it seems to have solved the problem!
