Yes - even based upon my original write-up, it seems quite clear it's a
default path problem. But, why is it happening now, and why only on
their system?

At this point - I will take your suggestion - along with the same by
others - and attempt to check out the possibility of setting a default
path back. I just HOPE that this can be done in only ONE Single program
(like this printer/preview selection program) - and NOT require me to
change a HUGE number of different programs!

Yes - I always restore path after calling anything external - you 
could even end up in windows\system32 :)
