Agreed. As I said, I have HUGE respect for the man's accomplishments, and his life has been spent specializing in developing large robust, highly intensive database engines. So, processing the streaming data of clicks from Amazon, or stock market trades, could be handled in orders of magnitude better performance with his new solutions. But there's a few dozen major stock markets in the world, while every Mom and Pop have a chart of accounts. Many of our VFP gigs may be considered a trivial problem for his solutions, but it does pay the rent for a large part of the IT community. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
