Agreed. As I said, I have HUGE respect for the man's accomplishments,
and his life has been spent specializing in developing large robust,
highly intensive database engines. So, processing the streaming data
of clicks from Amazon, or stock market trades, could be handled in
orders of magnitude better performance with his new solutions. But
there's a few dozen major stock markets in the world, while every Mom
and Pop have a chart of accounts. Many of our VFP gigs may be
considered a trivial problem for his solutions, but it does pay the
rent for a large part of the IT community.
