That's right. Setting up roaming profiles is a network admin/sysadmin duty. I
wear
many hats and do Windows/Linux/Mac system administration, network
administration,
database administration, and desktop/web application design and development. I
guess
I'm just a whore willing to do whatever is needed/wanted, for money. :)
Sometimes I
forget that most people are way more specialized than I am.

So just specify that the network admin needs to set up roaming profiles. If you
save
to the user's My Documents (or Application Data, or...) you'll be fine as long
as you
aren't in the user's hidden Local Settings directory.

But then again, if it is an app you are writing, you could just have user's
save data
to your database, which lives on a server, and forget about the roaming
profiles???

Paul
