A reporter interviewed this morning on CNBC used the Freedom of Information Act to compel the Fed to give up some paperwork on where the first $300B went. There is an unaccountable loss of $78B. That is, they don't know who got it and they don't know how much financial paper they got in return from the banks. Poof. It is just gone!
