I am very lucky, as an American, to live in a country where everyone has
Freedom of Speech based on guarantees within the USA Constitution and
Bill of Rights. This allow the free press to play a major role in
Democracy, which is to become the eyes and ears of the American people,
who must be informed in order to make educated decision in the voting
booth. Democracy is not possible in a country that sensors, or
otherwise manipulates, the news, and in many countries the press is only
allow to publish what has been approved by the leadership of the
country, and all other news is censored.

Although you evidentially don't appreciate the news and Op Ed opinions
published by the Washington Post and the New York Times, be thankful
tonight that you live in a country where you have access to more than
one side of the story; because, in many countries you would never hear
anything other than the one approved point of view.

Regards,

LelandJ
