Wow.

The company I just parted ways with have been sending me emails with deadlines,
and demands for copies of my software and updated invoices, and all those
emails were going into the spam folder.

It turns out their domain must be blacklisted and Yahoo web mail is sending
everything from that domain not in my address book into the Spam folder. All
these emails were coming from their legal department to formally close out my
contract, and since I've never worked with any of those people, they weren't in
my address book.

So "luckily" I got a nasty email from someone on my address book demanding I
respond by 12:00 noon or they would take legal action to sue me for the
software I was withholding and reverse all the direct deposits into my bank.
Of course, they already had the latest version of the software and were using
it since I left.

So they thought all along I was screwing with them, meanwhile I never saw any
of the emails.

Of course it never occurred to them to call me, FAX me or send me a certified
letter to find out why I wasn't responding.

And it never occurred to me to look in the spam folder which never catches
anything important. Since I wasn't expecting any mail from them, I never
looked for it.

Wow is everything turning to sh*t! LOL

Moral of the story, look in your spam folders.
