Why shouldn't someone be able to question Autism and its treatment? Are we going to go back to a time when we couldn't question whether the world was flat, the earth was the center of the universe, or anything else that we now know is false? > > Savage says stuff to get attention, but the essence of his argument is correct, that Attention Deficit Disorder and Autism are both way over diagnosed and over-medicated.
Accountability. What he said was way beyond what could be argued. He should be held responsible for his comments and the ensuing action appropriate. > > That being said, I think that the rise in Autism is caused by something in the food supply. The symptoms of autism are similar to systematic yeast infections which has been linked to IBS and fibromyalgia. I suspect it probably has to do high levels of sugar in the diet, along with mercury and heavy-metal toxins, pesticides, and anything else that weakens the immune system. I'm not sure what it is, but my nephew has Asperbergers (sp?), which is a form of autism, iirc. Likewise, my daughter could just be a regular teenager, but I think that she exhibits very high level/functioning traces of autism at times too. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
