Well the thing is, most of the really ugly stuff is known -- Rezko, Ayers, and the connection to the Nation of Islam and Black Liberation Theology -- but nobody seems to care. I mean, Kerry's dopey narcissism and "typical white person" elitism seems benign by comparison to Barry's "Manchurian" credentials. He was just a complete Herman Munster-like parody of himself, and still it was a close election. As Biden noted, Obama is the "first articulate black man" to run for office, and the mystique of that alone can carry him with most people. He's as shallow and dangerous as Clinton I, but has an aura of inevitability about him that's part media mythology, part recognition of the total cluster that is the Republican party right now. A long story, properly told over well-chilled adult beverages. :) - Bob > -- > Regards, > > Pete > http://pete-theisen.com/ > > [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
