I write my UI's by hand, which admittedly takes just as long or longer 
than using a designer would take. But once done, that time spent is a 
drop in the ocean compared to the time spent in the business-logic 
layer. And it is really simple to insert a new control, or tweak the 
properties of other controls here or there, as it is all code and not 
some other human-unreadable format.
