A nag screen when I use the product I can live with.  To have a blatant
AutoInstaller notify me every day that "hey you don't have iTunes yet, why
don't you install it" is getting me pissed off.

Will probably follow the alternative version offered up this thread.

Did FireFox come in & bludgeon people to switch over to their browser?
Nope.  now you have to use their browser for iTunes?  I thought that I just
read that last week???  I don't own an ipod and i don't play mp3s that they
would ever sell so I see no reason to get reminded of their poor offerings
in my POV.

Really I see that Apple is keeping the pretty side out and probably has rot
at it's core.  Give it a few more years and more people will start to see
that they are coming across like M$ does a few years ago.
