OK, let's clear things up a bit. Clicking on the link in the footer
doesn't do anything except record your objection in the database, and
notify me that someone thinks that there is a problem. That's it. It
doesn't "ban" anybody or anything like that.
If it comes to pass that the same person has been flagged several
times for things that were clearly [OT], then what would happen is
this: their address would be added to the 'hold' queue for ProFoxTech
*only*. Remember how mail to these lists goes:
Post -> ProFox -> OT Filter -> ProFoxTech
So even the individual who has been put in the hold queue for
ProFoxTech will have their message posted immediately to the main
list, and also entered in the archives. If the content is appropriate
for the ProFoxTech list, I will then release that post from the hold
queue, and then subscribers to the ProFoxTech list will see it. If the
post is clearly [OT], it will not be forwarded to the ProFoxTech list.
I hope that that clears up the process a little better.
