Until recently I would agree.  However, I'm concerned about the recent
petty arguing about what should be in NF and OT (i.e. the 'Abuse
footer').

Personally I find this *more* annoying than the odd off-topic message
in NF.  In the past a quick 'please move to OT' generally worked.
We're all guilty of off-topic posts, it's only human nature.  There's
posts recently where the person could have simply deleted the
messages.  Hey, I regularly delete threads I'm not interested in, for
example the US election.  I'm not a US citizen so I have no say in
this.  Delete.

Please don't get me wrong, I love this mailing list.  I really, really
*hate* web based forums.  Maybe I'm 'old-school' or something but I've
been batch downloading messages since the fidonet days and replying at
my leisure.

Keep up the good work Ed!

Disclaimer: please bear in mind it's a holiday tomorrow and I've just
