----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I do LinkedIn as well as Facebook. The two are so different from one another it is amazing. I'll speak of facebook because nobody else has. I get a better interaction with my college age son who is not one to pick up the phone and call, ever..... As his profile changes I get a notification. If he is linked in pics that are posted I get a note from Facebook to check them out. If I put up images and tag myself he gets a message. This may sound juvenile but it has really made communication of day to day experiences easier to grasp. It is kind of funny but he just asked for help in a cooking contest that the Greeks are invited to at UTK.edu We have been kicking some ideas around and I'll make a group on Facebook that the helpers in his Fraternity can join so everyone is on the same page. you can put up pics, video, urls, and a ton more. There are hundreds of add ons to FB that are all free. where I've been is cool. you get to define where you have visited , lived and want to go to and others can view it. It does take a lot of work to get a lot back from FB. You have to post "stuff" to get stuff. You have to have friends who want to do likewise. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer Mimeo.com Memphis TN 901.246-0159 --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
