well that was not really my point. the point was that VFP can not do complex web services on its own. And I have to learn c# to enable me to use those services with VFP. At the moment I am doing just that using a c# wrapper but I would think that as c# become better known to me I may well go that way. I dont hate VFP at all. Having said that, if it becomes possible to use VFP and debug com dlls in VS then so much the better. Allen
-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rick Schummer This is not an all or nothing, exclusive decision Allen. You can use .NET language based components with VFP with or without Web services. You should look at the examples in the NET4COM part of Sedna. No need to wait for the official release. The classes and example code is VB.NET, but the concepts are what is important, not the actual examples. It will show you one way to leverage .NET if there is something in .NET you need to incorporate into your existing or future VFP apps. No virus found in this outgoing message.
