Dave, Some ideas:
1. Make sure SET DEVELOPMENT ON. 2. Make sure that your EXE and development environment have the same values for SET EXACT. 3. Double check your SET PATH setting to make sure your EXE is being built with the same files you are using in development. 4. Delete all your *.FXP files. 5. Recompile your EXE. Does this help?
