http://hades.phparch.com/ceres/public/tek/live/index.php/tek_live::main Well I got here early for the in-depth (read long) sessions on Tuesday and took the php 5 crash course stuff, and then took the zend certification exam since it was being offered for free here. I think may have done pretty horrible on it though. Wednesday Rasmus Lerdorf, the creator of PHP, gave the keynote and he was good but the sound equipment was malfunctioning horribly. I sat in "Writing Maintainable PHP Code", which I thought was sort of obvious stuff. I also went to "Services made Simple with PHP" which was a look at PHP SCA (Service Component Architecture), and I saw DB Design for PHP Developers which also covered a lot of topics I was familiar with. Today I've seen "Top 15 ways to Kill MySQL Performance" which I thought was very interesting. I also saw a session on PHP Data Objects which was good, and I'm sitting in "The Standard PHP Library" now. Overall its been pretty good but I have to say the same thing alot of others have said. I like the overall vibe and friendliness of the Fox and its developers and no other group seems to come close. --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
